Wild West Auction For Kids
The Wild West Auction for Kids is held every spring and is one of the Treasure Valley’s premier events that raises critical operating funds for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County. Bringing together Idaho’s “A-List” of business, community leaders, and Club friends for a spectacular dining experience, live entertainment, and the wildest and craziest auction ever to hit the Boise Centre!
The Great Dolphin Dunk
Every summer, 10,000 dolphins are dropped into the Endless River at Roaring Springs and put to the race! If your dolphin is the first to cross the finish line, you win! The goal of the Great Dolphin Dunk is to raise $30,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County. The money raised helps provide essential support to youth from families in need.
Spud Challenge
The Spud Challenge is our annual Golf Tournament held in late summer. Community members from around the Treasure Valley compete in an 18-hole scramble at BanBury Golf Course, not only for fantastic prizes, but to support the 4,000 youth we serve. New teams are always welcome, but this tournament does sell out quickly.
Youth of the Year
Each year the Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County selects one outstanding youth between the ages of 14 and 18 to represent our organization as our Youth of the Year. The winning Ada County Youth of the Year will win a $1,000 scholarship from Micron, and will compete for the title of Idaho Youth of the Year against youth from the 5 other Idaho organizations. Should the Ada County youth win the state competition, he/she will go on to compete at the regional and national levels for a chance at more scholarships.
